We are Kimmick Landscaping.

Kimmick Landscaping started in 1988 when Michael Martins graduated from university.  But in reality, the story of Kimmick begins even earlier, when Michael was a young boy. While his school friends were scraping together dollars to fund their summer holidays, a twelve-year-old Michael decided a more entrepreneurial approach was needed. He began by knocking on doors and offering to shovel snow from his neighbours' driveways in the winter. When spring came around, he'd knock again and offer to mow their lawns. His first colleague was his sister, Kim, and together they settled on the name Kimmick Landscaping - a portmanteau of "Kim" and "Mike" – which has remained ever since.

Then Michael set his sights higher. Taking pride in his work, he taught himself new skills – learning how to weed and spray lawns and developing a keen interest in horticulture. He knocked on more doors, he took on a wider variety of tasks and he would travel further afield, committed to expanding his knowledge and his reputation.
